Inauguration of New Hotel Rooms at Rawdon Golf Resort: A Major Expansion for the Hospitality Sector in Lanaudière
The completion of the $2.4 million project was also supported by the provincial government through the EPRTNT (Regional Partnership and Digital Transformation Agreement in Tourism), which aimed to enhance the tourism offerings in the Lanaudière region.
In addition to increasing its accommodation capacity, the Rawdon Golf Resort made it a priority to collaborate with local businesses for this large-scale project. From general contractors to electricians, as well as door and window suppliers, all the players involved in the expansion are from the region. This approach aims to support the local economy and promote the expertise of businesses in Lanaudière.
During the event, the Minister of Housing, Ms. Duranceau, Member of the National Assembly for Bertrand, highlighted the perseverance and vision of Mr. James Scott and Ms. Annik Perreault, the leaders of this century-old company, who have successfully adapted the Rawdon Golf Resort to new realities and customer expectations.
The Mayor of Rawdon, Mr. Rougeau, also spoke to congratulate the resort for its innovation and contribution to the local economy. He emphasized the creativity of the team, which continues to invigorate the region’s tourism industry.
In addition to the current expansion, the Rawdon Golf Resort announced its plans to acquire a new establishment, scheduled to open in the spring of 2025. This project reflects the company's commitment to diversifying its offerings and strengthening the tourist appeal of the Lanaudière region.
